Yes CommodoreS. F1 is a designation. Current F1 is still the pinnacle of motorsports but now very similar to many FAN friendly series around the world. The turn to pleasing the fans with close racing by adding gimicks, severe limitations and fuel and engine restrictions amounts to a true spec series. Something in my opinion F1 was NEVER to be.

commodore. in a way I agree with rob and yourself. I do long for the old, proper type of f1 racing. watching an old british gp the other night, hill had a bolt come out of his suspension (lotus of course), yet had time to call into the pits, get out of the car, have the suspension fixed , yet still finished fifth. but standardisation of specifications etc has provided close racing , of a sort, that was otherwise unheard of. v8 is an example!

So do I Richard.

F1 appears to have lost its way together with its unknown and its a shame.

Its been rubbed that many times its lost its shine.

Mate whilst the V8's are looked upon as a Spec Series we still have ample room to play with the car to find that special edge for improvement however its a small window

commodore. whereas Bernie can be commended for bringing f1 to the fore, he has to be criticised for bowing too much to the tv god, in order to make money for himself. he has to have destructive tyres and drs so as to try and inject some "excitement" for TV VIEWERS. in the past, because of the variables in cars, we could get passing ON MERIT, coupled with breakdowns, punctures etc. there was always an "unknown" lurking somewhere, and that is what made it exciting (to me at least)

I see that jnr is racking up some good results. respect!

Feel the same way Richard.

Yeah were doing O.K. .Also lost our way with the new cars but have found the variable.

COTA was great when we competed at the circuit

Townsville next weekend.

Gearing up for Enduro"s. Signed Jeroen Bleekemolen and Marc Lieb. Should be strong.

The series has been knocked hard with the death of Allan Simmonsen. He was well liked and respected together with being mates with us all. Was going to the funeral but business won't allow
