Bernie Ecclestone has hinted that he is considering buying the Nurburgring in an effort to preserve the future of the historic venue.

Whatever anyone's feelings about Bernie, it would be a massive loss to motorsport & petrolheads if the 'Ring, with all its history, was turned into an industrial park.

If Bernie can use some of his billions to save it, I say a big Thank You!

@Fullofit you are probably forgetting the massive loss to motorsport that was Circuit Paul Ricard, that a certain Mr Ecclestone bought??? Closed to his super exclusive mates now. Do you honestly think Bernie would ever do anything altruistic and in the public's interest?????
