another win for vettel. extended his championship lead despite not really being the quickest from yesterday morning. broke the no wins in july and germany hoodoo in a single victory. it may take some hoodoo for anyone to stop him maintaining the records of schumacher and fangio winning a fourth title after a previous three on the bounce

Raikkonen was closing on him at around 0.5s per lap on the last few laps. Pirelli said that the difference between the soft and medium tyres was around 1.5-1.7s per lap. Considering Lotus kindness on the tyres and Vettel's relative old tyres at the last stages I presumed that he would be catching him at 1s per lap. With the old model of tyres I believe it was possible. Now I understand why Red Bull wanted so much this tyres.

Tire nonsense this, tire nonsense that. Vettel and Red Bull used the same tires as everyone else, but they made them work the best. A well deserved victory, nursing the Red Bull home Sebastian.

Ptolemy, I agree with you, don't forget KR was on used softs at his last pit stop. It's FA on new softs that should of been able to get a podium. Vettel is a true champion except it people.

mike. you are bitter! butyour comment is odd. are you trying to say that vettels WHEEL should fall off, or are you trying to say vettels tyres GO off. were you not happy enough when vettels gearbox went off at Silverstone?
