walrus. first of all, the action takes place in 2.5 secs. easy to fumble something.
secondly, the jackman is watching a light system that tells him when all guns are used and detached. he is trained to concentrate on the lights. I have no idea if the lights did in fact give him the go-ahead to drop the jack. my feeling is that he did get the ok, but maybe the wheelman was undoing the nut again as it may have cross threaded , and that there was simple human error in the heat of the moment. it has happened to every team on the grid at some time or another, so law of averages dictated that it was bound to happen to rbr at some stage.
