Romain Grosjean: It was pretty special when I was leading the race and returning to the podium is naturally a good thing

He is getting team orders very race now. In Silverstone and Nurburgring, Raikkonen overtook him following the instructions of Boullier. Mercedes too from time to time looks to use team orders. Luckily Ferrari didn't need them on the last races. Massa got out of the way of Alonso with an exploding tyre and a spin without taking instructions from Smedley. And Red Bull uses other methods to keep their drivers away from each other.

@Firestorm

Kimi was much quicker in the final stint with the fresh soft tyres. All the team said was to not hold him up. If Romain was faster he would not have had to "let" him overtake. I think you are using the term 'team orders' too freely.

Lotus used team orders on this race. Grosjean could have let Kimi passed a few laps earlier. kimi could have the laps needed to over take Vettel. The team would have had a much better result. but my hat is off to RG for that drive!

Stop flogging this dead horse....

There is a difference between "team orders" which ensure maximum points for a driver - and a team letting one teammate know that he is on a different strategy from the other driver. Both make sense when necessary (and are not illegal) and it is the team principal's prerogative when he knows what is best for his overall team in a tight championship.
