Seriously, what is wrong with this guy? Crashes in Monaco, Canada, Britain and then he spins off during the race for in Germany. The majority of the accidents were his fault, yet he came up with some BS excuses for most of them.

Totally agree with LJ s comments above. Ferrari cannot even say they are trying for the constructors title as he is scoring no points. I think it is time for him to say he is retiring. Get Paul di Resta in that car, at least he drives his hat off, but seems to have been let down by a few odd things from his team. So Ferrari tank Massa for all his help over the years and let him go, and get Di Resta, and start getting two cars to finish a GP and score some points.

@ian mcinnes the problem appears to be that Ferrari boss Di Montezemolo likes Massa and I honestly don't think Stefano wants to risk his position by swapping him for somebody they don't believe who could survive the pressures of driving for Ferrari.. How they seriously believe there isn't anyone better out there is beyond me. My first choice would be Kobayashi as I believe he has the speed and measured aggressiveness that Ferrari needs to push forward at the same time he would learn a lot in terms of setup and racecraft from the master, Alonso.

lj. massas car is again being used as a test bed for ferdi. if you look at massas offs, they all happen on right handers and the car spears left. a spin usually results from oversteer. the two at Monaco were first blamed by Ferrari on massa, but were then found to be suspension problems. the one at nurburgring had massa puzzled, but note that he found it impossible to knock out of gear, so there was a hydraulic problem. I think that massa's car may be trialling fric suspension, and it is problems with these hydraulics that are causing the unusual offs. at this stage it is not wise to condem a driver when the full details are not being disclosed
