Lotus team boss Eric Boullier says Red Bull are 'pushing hard' to try and do a deal that would see them pair Kimi Raikkonen with Sebastian Vettel next year - but insists that Lotus hasn't given up hope of retaining the Finn

This switch may actually not be as straightforward as everyone thinks. Kimi is in a great position at Lotus right now and Boullier may have told him some things that may not yet be public knowledge, e.g. his plans to bring some major investments from some serious players to the team.

Then there's another potential question that not many people are discussing right now - and it is something I am sure Kimi will have asked his managers to establish. What if Seb wins the WDC again this year and Adrian Newey decides he needs a new challenge after winning so many titles with RBR?? Is it out of the realms of possibility that he might want to go to Sauber or Force India and do the same - and some of those brainy engineers follow him there? If so, where will that leave Kimi?
