Hi crash.net Jamie G here! I would agree with Alice Powell being also in the F1 test. I feel Alice should also join me in DTM next year as a stepping stone to F1, she is faster than john lancaster as well who is leading the gp2 series

Alice Powell is an incredible talent and tremendously important to attracting the sort of diverse audience that F1 warrants. She is fiercely competitive and consistently outpaces her contemporaries whilst overcoming the most nonpermissive problems with her car. She should be in the F1 Test and she would excel in DTM on her way to F1.

Frijns and Felix da Costa look very promising, whether they're ready right now... unsure. A few others deserve a shot too.

Many are way off, though. Teams should be using genuine prospects, rather than wasting seat time on drivers like Paffett, Prost and Turvey (good in other series, but will never be in F1) and Wolff (not even good in other series).

Powell? Grand total of 1 point in GP3. Bit more time needed to see if she has what it takes.

Alice Powell? finished 19th in the 2012 GP3 series with a whopping 1 point . Im all for diversity in motor sports pinnacle event but having Alice Powell would be just about Gender and not the very best talent.

To be honest I don't really think anyone in that list "deserves" an F1 seat. Bird or Valsecchi maybe...

And also, quite a few of those names are dedicated test drivers only, there's not even any discussion about them actually taking a race seat. Paffett, Turvey, realistically Wolff. Also a few that don't even "deserve" to be where they are today such as the likes of Gonzalez and Cecotto. I see quite a few that might deserve a good GP2 seat for next season though!
