The legendary 'voice of F1', Murray Walker, has revealed that he's been told that he doesn't need an intensive six-month round of chemotherapy for cancer after all.

Thank god for that Murray!! A true man in every sense. I was gutted when the news 1st broke. Murray was very much part of my education to Motorsport and F1 from 1978! Would of been a tough pill to swallow had Motorsport lost one of it's great ambassadors.

Great news, always had great admiration for Murray, and love hearing him talk about current motorsport - it's impressive that his knowledge and enthusiasm is undiminished after 65 years of working in the sport.
