Jenson Button: The main aim is to win a grand prix this year and Spa is, at the moment, probably the best race to go and look for that...

Where he found the confidence to say that? After practice the Mp4-28 still looks to have many deficiencies and is some 1s slower per lap than the Bulls. Is funny to think that exactly ten years ago McLaren created another deficient car the Mp4-18 which in the end never raced. I know that that car had problems with reliability especially at engine cooling system, very different to the problems of the Mp4-28. But I mean than this car should have never raced they would done better to develop the Mp4-27. Ten years ago they also run the Mp4-17"D" instead of the 18 and the results weren't bad.

far cry from years gone by when they were always 1 and 2 with Ferrari.
To me this just exposes the talent of both drivers!!!...Especially the new one!

Maybe a wet race, but even then it would require perfect execution of strategy and timing, some what like his first win with Honda or his first win with McLaren. Would be nice to see a glimmer of light in the tunnel for McLaren, but still pretty darn dark

I think he is deluding himself, the car is still well of the pace and I don't see that changing. Everybody else is developing there cars so Mclaren had a mountain to climb which they are not achieving. Redbull have once again pulled clear of the field and Vettel will surely win his fourth consecutive title. For Mclaren to get a race win this season would require an exceptional set of circumstances and they only happen once in a blue moon.
