I should have put money on Mclaren somehow having a 'bad car' this season now that Hamilton's gone. If he wasn't there last season then, judging from Button's results, they would have said last year's car was rubbish for about the middle 2/3 of it too.

Nothing new in this, Button has a history of struggling to qualify well regardless of the car. At least he has an excuse this season of having a very poor car. He has dropped right down the pecking order and is little better than an also ran at the moment. Mclaren need to hire a driver who can extract the best out of the car all the time because Button seldom does.

He has got that right ("Im struggling"). He should also be a brave man and go one better by saying "Im a crap driver and cant drive the car". If it were Vettel he would be leading the championship with the same (if not more) number of points.
