"If pole was half a lap ahead of 2nd he might have half a chance of winning...."
do you remember posting that Tai ?!!!
a win is a win however it comes..... thats a reality check
tbh I wouldn't have cared if Webber, Alonso or Kimi won either as long as somebody breaks Vettels stranglehold .... and before you bitch about that, I think Vettel and Red Bull are doing an excellent job but it is getting a tad boring in my view

You're right Taipan. He did overtake on newer tyres, on a track where there is very little overtaking from. Took him a couple of laps.

But on the other hand I did enjoy watching Red Bull vs Mclaren battle. Gave me chance to count the number of stickers on SV's car for a dozen laps. Totally more important.

Sourgrapes mate. It's ok to admit it sometimes. Nobody judges anyone else on the internet.

I enjoyed some super drives from Hamilton, Raikkonen, Grosjean and Button. Pity that you didn't (or couldn't).

Hamilton overtook Button immediately where Vettel, in exactly the same situation, got stuck behind him. This is where raw speed (regardless of tyre wear) shows its merit: where needed, Hamilton has an extra gear he can go to where he can use the tyres a bit more for a couple of laps but it allows him to make crucial passes. Sometimes he gets stuck in behemoth mode for too long and it burns the tyres out. But most other drivers simply do not have that gear to go into even if they wanted, which gets them stuck behind other cars.

In other news, I see we finally have confirmation that Ferrari have been cheating with DRS, which I have been saying for a number of races now. But this is not the only race that Alonso has cheated with it, and frankly the 15k euro fine is disgraceful. F.I.A anybody?

@taipan....put the toys back in the pram mate! :P

was a good race, vettel lost through not being able to pass button, he seemed to have the quicker car in clean air.
