Bernie Ecclestone has confirmed that there are doubts over India's position on the 2014 F1 schedule.

"Claiming tax on performers"...meaning they want to tax the income of the drivers and teams? I doubt this happens anywhere else. It would kind of kill the viability of a World Championship. Do they tax the incomes of foreign players and teams in cricket, football and other sports when they come to an event?

Nonsense.

I see it from Bernie as:

"It's very difficult to get Tax breaks from them so that F1 could continue to dodge on Taxes by paying less than 2% Effective Tax rate on the Income earned!"
