F1 » Whitmarsh lauds 'inspirational' Button and Perez

There hasn't been much cheer for McLaren team boss Martin Whitmarsh in 2013, but as far as he's concerned the 'inspirational' example set by the team's drivers has been a glowing exception to the gloom.

Ty, it was more of a predictive comment as in to come.

I'm just watching Martin Brundle driving the Red Bull 7 on Sky what a car 18 poles in 19 races and 12 wins. What is the chance that If wonderboy was driving that car it might have been 19 poles 19 wins.

"McLaren simply looked at their drivers for the last 3 years and decided to keep the most successful one."

What you mean the only statistic where Button comes out on top with more points over 3 years like you tell us every Cpl of days Bob!

Surely more wins, more poles and beating Button 2-1 in championship positions must make Hamilton the most successful one?

You guys do realize that McLaren tried to keep Lewis and increased their initial offer to match Mercedes. They did not want to get rid of him. Yes some of his antics were very childish. Jenson is more a team player when it comes to critcising the car and it was nice to see him able to mix it up at the front again.
