Franz Tost says there is a 'high chance' that Daniel Ricciardo will be a Red Bull driver next year - despite earlier suggesting a move could be too soon for the Australian

On the topic of Daniel, I think he is a reasonable replacement for Webber. Kimi would be a great replacement but RBR also needs to plan for the future.

If and when Vettel departs they will need to find a new number 1 driver and it won't be Daniel so he will always be the support act and he probably already knows that.

Two things:
1. If a team boss says that their driver has a "high chance" of racing with another team, it's pretty much confirmed.

2: @Objective that doesn't make sense. If Vettel goes, Ricciardo is naturally going to be the man unless Red Bull in a rare showing pay more money for a driver like Hamilton or so forth.

It makes me warm and fuzzy knowing that your Gran's quality of life has been improved by a couple of Australian TV productions. Oddly, of all the Australian drama, those two programs have been our best exports to the UK. LOL.

Yes Ron I know the Poms are having a purple patch in International sport.....Cricket, Tennis, Rugby, Cycling, the Olympics. Enjoy it while it lasts.

Quite frankly, given I was born in the UK (my dad was training at a hospital there for a while), I am not that unhappy about the resurgence in UK sporting success.

Regarding Ricciardo, quote superdowg:

.......Give the kid a break, he hasn't even been announced as a driver at all yet and if he is signed who says he can't win races, even titles?

Erm....how long have you been watching F1?? A certain gentleman that goes by the name of The Good Doctor Helmut Marko says so!
