F1 » Sutil 'happy he realised what kind of a person Hamilton is'

Adrian Sutil: I respect Hamilton as a sportsman, but I think in private he's not on my level and I don't need to waste time with those people...

And Adrian, everyone present that night are also "happy they realized what kind of person you were" before going on another holiday with you. I wonder, does the Force India hospitality suite only serve food and drink with plastic, knives, forks and glasses? They should.

I do wonder whether a lot of the hatred towards Hamilton is racial. I have never once heard someone be able to give a good reason why they don't like him. People say he's arrogant, I've never seen that, say he's dangerous, again, never seen that either. Top quality professional and a world champion. And before I get called a fan boy, my favourite driver is actually di Resta
.......................................................................................
I to wonder if it is Hamilton's skin colour that is causing all the hate too. Most top f1 drivers have transgressed in some way or other in the past but if it is Lewis it is seen as something different and the hate comments start..

Arrogant: "I'm the new Senna" "These other drivers are frickin' ridiculously stupid." "Vettel is a poor-man's Mansell" "Red Bull are a drinks company, not a Formula 1 legend like McLaren."
Dangerous: Just ask Massa.

Above are the kind of reasons Lulu makes people cringe. Its weird though. Sometimes I find myself respecting what he says... and his mannerisms are respectful sometimes...
And then all of a sudden, out of the blue, he pops off some offensive nonsense that puts a foul taste in your mouth.
Not the kind of person one can afford to have around as a friend. A loose cannon so to speak.

I've labeled him as Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.
That's just what he is.
Doesn't anyone remember him winning that race last year and then acting like his best friend just died in the post race interview? The commentator asked him "Is there something wrong? You don't seem happy." Now that HAD to be a first in F1.
That was one of his Mr Hyde moments.

@Taz serious? You don't know that?

Well, it's basic. Say you have your Lewis fanboy, blinded to think he's great. I call some posters "Anti-Lewis fanboys" because you are the same as the Lewis fanboy, except rather being blinded by fandom of a driver, they're blinded by fandom of HATING the driver.

Let's recap:
Lewis fanboys: Love loving Lewis
Anti-Lewis fanboys: Love hating Lewis

Have I clarified it enough?

@Taipan:

Dowg, While you're in the mood for comparing, how does Spyker and Force India compare to McLaren and Mercedes? They've not exactly had similar equipment during their careers have they?

Well actually they have.
They were team mates in Euro F3 2005
SAME CAR, SAME TEAM

Hamilton 13 Poles 15 Wins CHAMPION
Sutil 1 Pole 2 Wins Runner up

Incidentally they BOTH Beat Vettel who finished a distant 5th in the championship with ZERO wins

@FW14

First off, love the name

Second, it greatly shows what a good car can do. It raises questions as to what certain drivers would be like if they were in a Marussia, Caterham and even a HRT for that matter. Would Max Chilton be as fast as Vettel in the same car? (Taking out team orders)

It's weird how F1 is at times.
