F1 » Sutil 'happy he realised what kind of a person Hamilton is'

Adrian Sutil: I respect Hamilton as a sportsman, but I think in private he's not on my level and I don't need to waste time with those people...

Hard to hear anything Sutil says in this regard, he was found guilty of glassing someone. You cannot have the moral high ground when those are the actions you have been found guilty of taking. And in terms of defending someone who did that, surely Lewis would be getting even more grief from the anti's?

Either way he went there would be some of you on here calling him out for defending Adrian..or not and let's not pretend that wouldn't be the case.

No matter what your thoughts on Lewis, positive or negative you cannot seriously be supporting Adrian in this....and i am not saying that means you support Lewis.

As for the school incident, i did look it up as i'd never heard of this before. What i would say (and again it is not defending Lewis(although it does says he was found to be innocent so unless we were there it is hard to comment further despite some doing exactly that) is that when i was a kid i did a few things i am not proud of, stupid things but that is not who i am now.

It would be an awful world if we were all judged on stupid things we did as kids....or not as the case maybe. None of us would get anywhere in life. Fortunately that is not how it works...it might be for some on here but that has no impact on real day to day life.

(not sure what the M at the end was so just added the above as i obviopusly posted too much) :)

@Cubikrube Couldn't agree with you more. I can't believe posters are trying to attack Lewis for a schoolyard fight compared to STABBING. People are actually trying to compare a fist fight with STABBING.

BTW, regarding the Lewis school thing, isn't there an old saying "innocent until proven guilty"?

@Cubikrube

it's not that clear cut. When you decide to be a figure in the public eye (And Hamilton craves attention...GQ photoshoot, Roscoe in the paddock, twitter etc etc) then your actions in younger years may come back to haunt you, it's a drawback of fame I guess. A few contestants on a certain TV 'talent' show have been thrown out after it came to light they bullied other kids at school.

The original point I was trying to make was that Lewis "might not" be as sqweeky clean as they'd like to make out. I wasn't actually comparing his (alleged) school incident and Sutil's actions.

Taz, the point is that this story and those who respond are going on about what sort of friend Lewis is to Adrian...as if Adrian deserved Lewis' support and that he a c*** for not giving it. My point is that Adrian didn't deserve anybody's support for his actions and the fact he is still going on about it to me means he hasn't realised just how out of order his actions were. He was lucky not to have been jailed for those actions and doubly lucky that he got back into F1, he should just stfu about the whole sorry saga as it does nothing but make him look like a c*** .
Then we have Lewis school days brought into it....
Crash loves stories like this whereas i love to see stuff about the thing we love which is motorsport in all it's forms...this belongs in some tacky celeb mag imo

I think this thread is final proof (if any more was needed) that no matter what Lulu does, back stab his friends, lie, cheat, assault people (allegedly) the fanboys see no wrong in his actions. With a roll model like him God only knows what sort of life you lot lead.

@Cubikrube

Completely agree about Sutil, don't think he deserved to get back into F1 personally.

As for this story, unfortunately there's not much else to discuss apart from "Will Massa finally get the bullet", "Will Bernie finally be locked up" and "Who gets the 2nd RBR seat".

I think my comment was, "they deserve each other" and I still maintain that one.

Look i am a fan of Lewis' driving, i can see how he can be viewed as such a divisive figure and doesn't help himself at times.
Reality is that he gets all these offers to do X and Y including photoshoots as do many other F1 drivers....ffs remember Jensons Head and Shoulders ad lol? I reckon if most of us were in his position we'd be saying some daft stuff occasionally but maybe not to his level.
Nobody is squeaky clean imo but at any given time on here as i have said before there are people on here with knives drawn ....even when the article bagging him is from someone who has been found guilty of a pretty awful crime....reality is that Adrian should be the one getting the grief in this instance...but no, let's go for Lewis again...surely you can see that my point has some merit? Adrian is the only one talking not Lewis, if it were him talking about Adrian then fair play but he has said nought.
