Christian Horner: I don't think Sebastian has any concerns about going up against any driver, and he hasn't voiced a preference either way...

Zulu? Oh dear, the mind of a fanboy is a worrying thing! Take the first syllable of his name and say it twice. Now that wasn't too difficult was it?

RGT, You do seem to love records that nobody else holds because nobody else had the opportunity to set them.

Take your other hero, fatter but with equally silly facial hair. Now how many F1 WDC were kicked out of the sport as reining champion and had to take up Indy driving? Not such an awesome record when you look at it that way.

I think I've asked you before how many rookies joined F1 in a car that would have won the constructors championship (if they hadn't cheated) and had backing over their team mate?

I set one of your records this very morning, first man to take a pee in my toilet today! awesome! go me!

Ty, did not Villeneuve have the chance to do a Mansell as he came to F1 in 96 as the reigning Indy champion so had the chance to win Indy and F1 back to back and depending on performances did have a chance to hold the tittles at the same time. And How was Mansell kicked out of the sport he just did not want to race Prost for what ever reason.

And as for Lewis starting in a race winning car did not DC start in a top car at Williams under Hill the difference is Lewis beat the No1 driver where as Coulthard got dropped and although Lewis started in a winning car there was a reigning double world champion in the same car he could not even beat the rookie. So to cut a very long story short,

Mansell's awesome record is that he did something that annoying Jacques couldn't do.

And

Lulu's awesome record is that he did something DC couldn't do.

Not quite so epic when you look at it in that way, your two mega hero's achieved something that 2 of the sports also rans didn't achieve. Big effing deal!

rgt. you ound like a broken record, that goes on, and on, and on, and on........
you bring up certain irrelevant facts, so I will correct you on your 2005 "facts".

lulu was driving a merc backed f3 car, but vettel was driving a privateer car. vettel was only 17, lulu was 20. lulu had 3 years more driving experience. vettel was rookie of the year, (so he cannot have done too badly). the f1 cars today are more equal than the cars they were driving in 2005. and look how vettel is owning lulu, consistently. I think that you will find that vettel has far more records and wdcs than lulu, who has failed miserably in his quest for world dominance.

and now your nemeracy skills are letting you down again, as usual. the wdc table shows the fastest german driver as being 48 points ahead of lulu! or are you in an obtuse way, trying to say that nico is faster tha seb? factor in the 3 mechanical failures suffered by nico, and you will find that the second fastest german driver, is actuall

Felix, It would make perfect sense if you did what I suggested "SAY the first syllable of his name twice" Now if I had said spell it you would have had a point, but I didn't, so you don't.

And now that your latest rant has been deleted it looks like I'm talking to myself.

IMO vettel should have a huge impact on the driver selection. He has earned the right by winning 3 WDC and 3 constructors for Red Bull. It would only be common sense to make sure he is comfortable with the next team mate.

Rob, I would imagine that behind the scenes Vettel will be included in the discussions but I don't think he will have the final say. RBR have to put the team first, Vettel MIGHT be disappearing to another team in a couple of years so they have to think long term.

Personally, I only think you consider leaving when you are no longer winning. Why leave a winning team for a non winning team? Winning is what ever driver wants, not be another also ran. Who's visually more ecstatic at the end of the Grand Prix ... the guy on the top step, or the other 2 on each side of him?

I'm sure the guys that are making more money than Vettel - Fred, Hamilton, Button, would gladly exchanges salaries for the coveted trophy SV currently holds.

Money isn't always the means to the end ..........
