Remember back in 2011 when it was rumoured that Kimi would go to Williams and that Lotus was an unlikely option given that Kimi had a war of words with them, yet he goes with the unlikely option?

This could be the case. Highly likely to go to Red Bull, Lotus and Ferrari don't seem to be an option. For all we know, he could bring out another surprise and go to McLaren!

Anyways, I think he's better at Lotus. They've built the team around him, catered for him and Kimi has been loyal. I don't see him moving anytime soon, and I sure as hell know he won't go to Red Bull.

I need to know how good Vettel really is as Webber who is world class is not in Hamilton's,Kimi's or Alonso's league. We have seen since 2010 he has not been a match for the super quick Vettel. So for me Kimi must go to Red Bull and give F1 fans the biggest inter team battle since Alonso v Hamilton, as the only winners will be the Fans.

@barrington
I'm afraid the only example of F1 drivers competing equally I can come up with is the Top Gear F1 star in a reasonably priced car.

Webber beat Vettel (at the second attempt) and so did Hamilton (also at the second attempt)

As brilliant a driver he is, it does not worry me where he should race and I care even less where he ends up. He was with Ferrari, they moved him on while getting paid more than any other driver for the year of his contract he was not able to race for them. Best guess is he should stay where he is. He will not go for the Red Bull seat as he wont want all the sponsor commitments that will come with it.

Anyone with the chance of going to red bull would be insane not to take the offer. They have basically dominated over the last few years and there's no evidence this is going to change any time soon.
