Just give me a break. Romain may be quick but is far off a complete driver. As Villeneuve said prior to the begining of the season: In order to win a race, Romain must have the fastest car on the track and a very clean weekend which is not typical for this driver.

firestorm. bigjohn has always shown promise and there is little doubt that he is fast enough to get a win or two. he has been compromised by his team several times, to aid kimi, but possibly will be held back from a win this year, unless kimi hits a problem

All the ingredients for a win are there. Grosjean has at times shown that he has good pace, can qualify well, can pass and defend, and is good at tire conservation. He just needs to put it all together on the same weekend.

I like RG for some reason. He knows he's there to support KR and gets on with the job. When given a chance and he can keep the car on the track and avoid accidents he's shown great flashes of brilliance (2 podiums this year, and kept some people honest in Germany).

Total hypothetical situation - if Ferrari dump Massa, I think RG could fill that position well. He's shown that given a good car he can put it right up there when needed, but yet aid the team when needed.

Yes, RG could fill Massa's seat. But so could 2 or 3 other midfield drives. No one questions his speed, its his inability for wheel to wheel racing and his lack of judgement/consistency that punishes him. In 2 or 3 years time I do suspect him to be a constant top 5 finisher if he hangs around in F1 long enough but at the moment I just don't see it happening unless ALOT of things go his way.

Although I do hope he proves me wrong.
