I'm not a fan of a French Lotus but in all fairness I would love to see them take more points away from Vettel. I don't like Vettel since he disobeyed team orders and started to become a baby schumi.

@Buck, Thats called sandbagging when you deliberately call lower than your realistic expectations. It doesn't show you in a favourable light when you get caught. And you will eventually get caught. So aim for the stars and if you only get to the moon, then it will give you something to aim for next time.
@Buzz45, I'm not a fan of the French either, but I must say that Lotus have been a pleasant surprise for me and I would like to see them do well now that Kimi is driving for them. In my opinion, he is a true racer.

Truth to be told, they should have been second in constructors last year. This year realistic would be second or thirth. But Kimi cannot do it alone. Romain cost them tens of mil. € last year.

When Kimi has bad weekend, his on the points. Normal weekend for him, he is 2. Great weekend hes on top.

What about Romain? Bad weekend for him is 7 crashes and DNF in race. Good weekend is 2 crashes and in points. Great weekend is top 3.

Romain has definetly the pace to be in F1 but its not good enough if you have 2 good races out of 6. I fear they are fourth in constructors this year and that is so frustrating because they could be so much higher and this team could use the money.

Bit of a rant, but its just so frustrating watching this same thing going over and over every weekend.

Well said Sir !
What's the point of having a completely inconsistent driver who costs so much in repairs?
Time for him to go banger racing and open up a drive for a proper driver. di Resta would be a good points scorer.....

@icemankimi, the team is owned by a group of French investors, which technically makes them French, even if they are originally founded and based in the UK and race under a UK licence. That's where the French Lotus comments are coming from. I don't really agree myself, but you can't deny the logic being used.
