Alonso recently tweeted

-

Some numbers from this August preparation - 1280km bicycle - 96km running - 21km Swim - 16h gym - 30h simulator

-

I wonder if that's better preparation than, a bit of rapping, some interviews, a spot of modelling and sprinkling catnip across the USA in an attempt to catch his stray cat!

Oh Taipan.
Where we mere mortals are so uninformed and inarticulate you provide such seasoned commentary.
I bow before such greatness.
This is another, well studied and mature comment, you must be so proud.
Again I am humbled to read such a fine piece of writing, congratulations and well done.
I look forward to many more examples of your exemplary analysis.

@ Ptolemy i have to agree with you on this one. When ever Lewis is subdued for what ever reason he seems to drive better and soon as he has a little run of success he does start talking and does become a little cocky. As for the media and maybe his fans being a little excited its because deep down it is known with the right car and a decent team he would be more of a force and Mercedes seems to be heading in the right directions with no silly mistakes like at his previous team and with a car that if gets its tyre situation right would be on a par with Red Bull regards pace.
