funny! I wonder what assumption all the other teams are working on?

but what is of interest, is that a couple of month ago, Pirelli said that they had to have immediate agreement on contract, otherwise they could not produce new tyres as required. so presumably this means that if Pirelli do provide tyres for 2014, they will be the same as the current tyres?

How are the teams meant to develop their 2014 cars if they have not had confirmation of the tyre contact for that year?

Come on Bernie, I know you have other things on your mind but get this tyre nonsense sorted out please. Just a phone call is required. You could even make the call form your German prison cell :)

@ pcxmac

You haven't thought that comment through have you?

Torque tears tyres.
If you think teams were unhappy about not being able to run at full speed with this years tyres, then watch how unhappy they'll be next year if forced to run on 2013 v2.0 tyres with turbo engines.
The FIA will have to allow traction control & electronics back for that plan to work!

Next year they will have to design a more durable tyre for the teams to get up to speed with the rule changes etc. Then mid-season when some teams are trailing there will be testing. If it's not Merc, I would love to see the reactions.

Merc will (L)ead n(E)xt year's (W)orld dr(I)vers' champion(S)hip and world constructer's championship and win it all.

i love it when people don't even know the difference between torque and power, you guys really should stop repeating what you are told....

I mean for chr*** sake, its really getting old.

& no, the FIA will not need to bring back TC, just because the FIA want's to use motors which offer less RPMs.

I love it. So much ignorance about power, stoichiometric ratios and how people believe turbos are god's gift to motors. Could the stupid irrational believers please stop repeating what they are told?

and dont try and explain it to him, his mind is closed and the wastegate doesn't work!
