Clearly Kovalainen once again thrashed the current Caterham drivers in FP1, using all his experience in damp circumstances to show his supreme skill, taking a full second out of Giedo van...oh wait...what...oh it was half a tenth of a second...

Just like I said then, not quicker than the current drivers :D. Reality is a beeyatch.

jjj. your jingoism knows no bounds! kovi drove when it was wet (and didn't crash)

vdg drove when it was dry and sunny, (and crashed for no good reason)

as ousay, reality really is a beeeatch.

Haha...too funny. Once again you're reasoning is laughable, I'm just talking about FP1 times, vdG and Kova out on track at the same time...same circumstances...half a tenth difference :D

Give crash.net some extra clicks by watching the FP1 report if you dare, the times are right there in 16th and 17th place, the truth will set you free.

The crash may well have been due to a slow puncture as it was at the same site as Vettel's flat tyre.

Darn I'm feeding the troll again...ah well...

Also I resent the accusation of jingoism. Always sad when people start playing the nationalism and closely related racism card when they run out of real arguments.

Truth is both the Caterham drivers are made to be the examples of everything that's wrong with paydrivers in F1 these days while Guttierez is again 7 tenths down on his teammate today as he has been all year and Chilton is his usual full second behind Bianchi...but the press lets that slide much more somehow...

This while for the 3rd time this year, the Caterham drivers have proven to be just as quick if not quicker than Kova in an FP session and are within 1 tenth overall for the day, indicating they drive to approximately the maximum from the car.

Times aren't opinions, they're facts and it's annoying when people deny facts to fuel their own delusion agendas.

I've never understood why people read into P1 and P2 times. Come end of Saturday the usual suspects will be up there, unless its super wet then we might see some surprises.
