The only reason why Vettel cruised passed Lewis so easily on lap 1, was because if you watch the start when they went through Eau Rouge Lewis took the wrong path up the hill and lost momentum, whereas Vettel stuck perfectly on the race line an lost no momentum. Lewis went over the top curb and lost momentum. Vettel will eventually pass but it was just too easy! In Hungary Lewis mugged the RBR driver twice so I guess revenge was sweet.

Rich, you should have been watching F1 a few years ago. Red Bull and Renault cried at the top of their lungs that they were down on power. ONLY to be reworking the engine for the off throttle blowing instead of getting more power. And for the record the engines are ALL the same in regards to power. You don't run the same formula for 7 years STRAIGHT and not get what you need for the limited gas you recieve. Aero is the Boss.

rob. of course I know that a couple of years ago , Renault where calling to be allowed to raise their power, which was denied. but the engines are not currently the same power. merc is still 20 above Ferrari with Renault a further 20 behind, and cossie something like 80 behind merc. of course fia would deny Ferrari and Renault to increase their power, as they were already trouncing the most powerful engine due to their DRIVABILITY which is different.

my answer was a bit of a dig at pcxmerc who has been "educating " us all on engines over the last few weeks!!!

ty. the reason why lulu does not wear the team cap, is that like schumi and lauda, he rents out his head to a sponsor. in his case, it is the hair thatching company. their workmanship has to be on view.

Gilles, I have an issue with stupidity, and to say Mercedes need to get more joules out of their KERS unit is stupidity of the highest order, why not just suggest that they should increase the engine capacity to 3 litres and put bigger tyres on the thing! The fact that stupidity and fanboys seem to be inextricably linked must just be a coincidence...

Richard, I'm looking forward to Lulu's new hat design, blue with Nacional on the front by any chance?

Hair thatching lol

@Taipan, you know, I've been starting to agree with you a lot lately. You may have just converted me.

Anyways, regarding Lewis himself, while he's fast, I'm starting to think he cares more about his fame then improving the car. Not that I hate him as much as the others, but he needs to focus on driving
