Lewis Hamilton said he was content with third place, but the Mercedes star projected a sense of relief at simply getting Spa done and in the books rather than delight at a significant podium.

Hello Jayne, I think some should be careful with what they wish for!
But since you asked Ponty, I'll expand on my theory that Lulu prefers going backwards, just for you...

This season, not including retirements these are the overall positions gained or lost during races

Vettel - Gained 6 positions
Webber - Gained 8 position
Alonso - Gained 29 positions
Massa - Gained 6 positions
Raikkonen - Gained 22 positions
Grosjean - Gained 15 positions
Button - Gained 18 positions
Perez - Gained 18 position
Rosberg - Lost 9 positions
Lulu - Lost 21 positions

When it comes to racing the guy is head and shoulders above everyone when it comes to going BACKWARDS!

hamilton lost 21 positions in silverstone alone, because of that rear tyre failure remember?

this kind of play with statistics just shows an utter lack of actual arguments for the point you are trying to make.

ah yes, racing backwards... you really did not have a point at all did you?
