The speculation this morning is that Jenson Button has signed a new 3 year contract to stay with McLaren and will be announced when they celebrate their 50th birthday next week.

I hope to see a new driver at McLaren next year as I don't rate Perez at all and I believe there are many other drivers that are more deserving of that seat, not to mention the amount of crashing into people he keeps doing!

Kimi would be a good choice for McLaren along with somebody like Bianchi or Hulkenberg.

Neither current driver is getting the most out of that McLaren they desperately need one of the top 4 drivers and Button and Perez are just not quick enough

I hope that Kimi chooses Ferrari. I think he had good memories there rather than another team which he drove. He won his title with Ferrari. Its time that he and Alonso have a head to head which is long overdue if you ask me. After Alonso signed with McLaren at the end of 2005 I thought that he would be partnering Kimi but he gone to Ferrari. At the end of 2009, especially after Massa's accident I hoped that Alonso alongside Raikkonen would be in red but again it didn't happened. I hope that the lucky third...third time it comes true. With Alonso and Raikkonen on board Ferrari would have the strongest driver line-up on the grid in 2014.

I would love to see Kimi at McLaren, I'm sure this year is just a blip.

It's clear that Perez was a mistake, I thought that when they signed him as he had like 1 or 2 good races and suddenly there was all this hype...

McLaren needs a benchmark and Kimi is that, without that top talent it's hard for them to judge where their car is.

Ferrari needs someone who can help win WCCs and Massa cannot do that any more, Kimi has always been that guy scoring lots of points.

I think Lotus has RoGro coming up to speed now, Kimi isn't as needed there if he comes to form by the end of the year.

Red Bull just need a Webber replacement, not a Kimi.
