Berie personally wrote up this "preliminary" contract and "had" it put out there in order to generate a sense of urgency for New Jersey and to get Mexico excited about ponying up the money for a new track. Lets not forget that Bernie is the "Adrian Newey" of Managing our favorite sport. He is a genius in psychology. Doesn't every remember how he calmly destroyed so many other big name's attempts to start up a new racing series for all the teams to go to? We all thought is was going to happen. But Bernie won the war. What was that all about anyway? I don't remember... something about some new rules... Anyone?
