Fernando Alonso: The radio messages have been misunderstood, as is often the case when you don't experience something first hand.

Richard the even stranger thing is Alonso thanked Massa for the tow which he claimed gained him an extra tenth! So he'd have been further away from Felipe without the tow.
I'm sure the split times showed Alonso only 6 or 7 hundredths down on Vettel after sector 2, so they lost a fair bit in sector 3.
Nice to see a smile on Felipe's face at the end, he looked more like the old Massa.

Let's hope he doesn't call the car a 'horrible truck' ...... Or maybe he will just so Ferrari remember what they did to Prost back in the day - and then he gets to move teams.. hmmmmm

This is nothing less than balderdash to consolidate the great British press disappointment at their perceived genius of a driver trying to qualify while driving like an idiot.
It is a pity that some F1 followers have to follow F1 matters by the above balderdash producing machines.

The whole towing fiasco got Alonso what he deserved. They spent so much time trying to set up a tow they compromised Massa and Alonso ended up on the 3rd tow. He should have just gone out and got a time on his own merits.
