F1 » Business as usual for Vettel at Monza

It was as close as you could get to an average day at the office, as an untroubled victory in Monza continued Sebastian Vettel's seemingly unstoppable march to a fourth world title.

Always the same on these forums.

People should base comments on fact.

Vettel is by far the best driver in Formula 1 at the moment.

For all the people saying that the Red Bull is the best car.......

Lets see Alonso wonhis two championships in the best car, Mansel won the Championship in the best car, as did Button, Hamilton, Schumacher, Prost and Senna.

Part of it is the car and the rest is the driver, its a package and Vettel is much better than the rest.

While it appears that the redbull is in fact the best car on the grid and has been for the last 4 years, has anyone actually given any thought to the idea that it isn't? Has anyone considered that Vettel really is just that good?

I mean, Webber is no slouch and he's been driving the same car and only in 2010 did he get anywhere near Vettel. How do we know that Webber's performances aren't the true indicators of the redbulls pace and Vettel is just driving beyond the car?

I think it's just rude and ignorant for people to continually say that he's not the best and it's just the car. I am NOT a Vettel fan, but I think it's time he got the credit for what he has done.

Well said Bob and all true. Vettel is a very special talent and it's not all down to the car that's for sure. I'd rather see others win but they can't match him simple as that.
He deserves the respect of anyone who calls themselves an F1 fan.

Outstanding drive by Vettel. He is the master at the moment which must really yank the chain of the Lewis and Fernando fans. Well said Bob and well agreed Taipan.

Rob01, I agree and suggest that deep down both Vettel and Newey got a great deal of pleasure from seeing the Tifosi turning their home GP into a boo fest. They are the same Tifosi who would chew their arm off to have those two villains join the Prancing Horse.

If the TV doesnt bother to show Vettel, preferring to show dices down the field - GOOD.
Motor racing fans like seeing good racing, whether that be at the front, middle or back of the field.
Today, the progress through the field of Kimi and Hamilton was good to see - both did several rather good overtakes. Both were entertaining after the race too with their scintillating wit and repartee. To have missed this because the producer only focussed on Vettel would have been a poor show.
It may not please the driver adulators but they can always read Hello magazine to keep up to date.
