F1 » Business as usual for Vettel at Monza

It was as close as you could get to an average day at the office, as an untroubled victory in Monza continued Sebastian Vettel's seemingly unstoppable march to a fourth world title.

How do we know that Webber's performances aren't the true indicators of the redbulls pace and Vettel is just driving beyond the car? - bobsmyname

I get what you're saying, but conversely, how do we not know that Webber is just driving within the limits of Webber - and not at the capacity of the Red Bull he is given?

I like Webber - and no way is he a slouch, agreed .... but he's Massa, or Barichello, or insert that really nice guy that you always want to pull for but deep down you know they just don't have that killer instinct to pull it off and become World Champion - driver.

Some of the posts on this page by new pet names (a trend started mostly by RGB) are the real source of sadness, hatred and envy, it all stems from the fact that the hopes held for the driver they support has been truly crashed by SV/RBR, as a result of their hurt, the race is normally boring, the booing at Monza is disgusting, these sad rotten sacks says they fell asleep after ten minutes of racing, one driver/car winning a lot of races kills the racing, some claim they will stop watching the racing, and I can assure them that if they “these unwashed and or white washed tombs” (terms originally used by me on here and now being copped by some of them) will stop watching the racing this Forum will be cleansed and a lot better place to discuses FI matters.

107SS2009.- why do you care so much about what others might do (stop watching races etc.). I think you are spending too much energy over something you cannot change.
Lets discuss F1!

Doo, looks like you had a good night sleep, is that down under? What you think doesn't affect me or my opinion and will not change anything I said.
I am not tiered, far from it, in fact I'm willing ready and able to go over the points raised on here for as far as the moderator will allow.

@pcxmac

Mark is a baby....... Seb stole a win of him and he's been moaning about it ever since. Seb will win the title and Mark will be 5th or 6th, Seb did the right thing.

Seb is like Senna, Alonso, Schumacher, Hamilton be wants to win, drivers don't want to be second...................

Barrington, (a known and recognised pen name) be assured that there is no problem with me, and as I told Doo, am willing to discuss the points raised on this page, so pick some points raised and fire up, let's go, there were plenty to chose from, disgusting boos at Monza, boring racing, one driver winning all killing racing, gonna stop watching and some more.

Superb drive again by Vettel. Alonso salvaged what he could with a little help from team orders. The Hulk did a great job to finish so strongly. Lewis and Kimi were left to rue their misfortunes.

I enjoyed the race. There were some nice little battles going on throughout the field.

@whitew

1) Vettel maybe like others but he can never be like Senna. Never (one needs a very large heart to be like him). I mean, for Senna coming 1st wasn't the only goal in his life.

2) Vettel is very talented, say like Stoner in MotoGP.. But he isn't complete or better than Alonso who never gives up fighting with not-the-best-car

3) Vettel is over-rated, say Hamilton can smack his ass by scoring polls given he got the best car every race. Here Alonso somewhat lags.

4) Vettel is not a great world champion (meaning, too boring with his getting away wins just like Stoner did.). This explains why so many people boo him.

5) Like Stoner, Vettel not so good in close racing and great overtakes. Here Alonso and Hamilton are far superior.

6) Average WC. Selfish and Disrespectful (team mate). Not much inspiring. Annoyingly long interviews!
