F1 » Vettel hails 'fantastic win' in Monza

It seemed like the win had never been in doubt, but Sebastian Vettel had to overcome a fierce fight into T1, flat-spotted tyres and gearbox issues during the Italian GP - and afterwards face resounding boos from the Tifosi.

Sebs been my favourite driver since winning in a Torro rosso 08 at such a young age, think we could be witnessing the best F1 driver of all time? He's already matched Alonsos win tally already. Well done Seb great race.

He is in my opinion the best well rounded driver on the grid. He can give you qualy laps when you need them, can look after the tires when you need them, can drive well in most if not all weather scenarios he is allowed to race in, while making his teammate look, and no offense, like an amateur. It is true let's face it. If I'm not mistaken this is Vettel's 5th-6th win this year, while Webber missed out on "being given" one. The guy is a true talent and so many people try to deny this its sad.

...Talk about unsportsmanlike conduct? The Tifosi have outdone themselves with the shameful booing of Sebastian.
They should be kind. If Ferrari can't woo Seb, then the Italians may have to wait until Seb's career is over in 10 years before they can celebrate another title.

Vettel qualifies well, starts well, can build a sizeable lead quickly and then control the race well.
Until another driver/car combination can tick all these boxes consistently, Seb will keep winning.

Currently, there's no candidate.

He drove well as usual but the fact is it was a totally boring race. We appear to have moved into another
one driver dominated era which does little for the enjoyment of watching. As a team Redbull are so much better than the others that we can only hope that the new engines from next year cause a more open and competitive championship. I've nothing against Vettel and Redbull it's just that it does'nt make for good watching.
