With the "emphasis" on start presumably! I wonder what will happen if Raikonnen wins the first three or four GPs,
Alonso will not be happy but he won't have anywhere to go except back possibly to Mclaren. Will make interesting watching.

“Since the world began, our drivers have always started on equal terms. It's always been that way and always will."

Not a mention of Schumacher/Barrichello or was that before the world began?

I sense this will be last team Kimi will drive for before he retire again. Not in too distace time I guess, in 2-3 years time perhaps, hope Not

My opinion is not best choice move to Ferrari as he did not well suited to ferrari environtment in the past

stay 1 year more at lotus and move back to mc Laren in 2015 would hv. been best for him,

everyone knows the interests of the team come first and only then those of the individual....

So if the team feels Fernando needs support it's in the interests of the team and Kimi will be #2. I see sulks and no way Ferdi will bow down .. I also believe Ferrari are more in favor of Ferdi - lots of Ferdi praise and a longer contract - this is a 2 year taste and will end in tears - Unless Kimi blasts off ... can't then help but wonder what garbage Ferdi will hold over the weak kneed Stefano...

Funny.

Good luck. Two great drivers, but are Ferrari ready for the clashes? With Alonso already acting out and Kimi being cool calm and collected. But Alonso always on it come race day.

Hang on boys it is going to get bumpy

Interesting that Ferrari say that the drivers start the season as equals and only after one gets the ascendency does the other play a supporting role. I am sure that prior to last season Ferrari made a number of public statements that their goal was to win the WDC with Fernando with the clear implication that Felipe was fulfilling a support role.
