Is this thing for real or what? Has anyone seen any work being done in Weehawken? I think the only new tracks will be related to oil money or will have something to do with China. No one has any money to be wasting these days. The Oil Barons have it all. That's why we have Malaysia, Bahrain, Abu Dhabi, AND Texas. Only China has the money to do some new circuits. I guess China would put on 3 more races if Bernie wanted them to.
So is New Jersey a joke like the way they humiliated America with the "USF1 Debacle?"

much though i would like to see the states get another gp, i doubt that nj will be able to come up trumps. on another site about two months ago, there were photos taken by a fan, of the proposed circuit. he said it was totally impossible to create a track due to narrow streets, buildings in the way, etc etc. certainly the photos seemed to prove it.

They can say it will happen all they want. I wouldn't go so far as to call it a joke. Parties are definitely trying hard to get the GP but I believe their efforts are in vain. As I've said all along, I would love to see another GP in the US, just NOT another street circuit in Jersey of all places. My concern now is that Mexico being so close to Texas on the calendar will pull some of the crowd from Austin and put that race in jeopardy. I certainly hope not. There are so many wonderful purpose built race circuits here in the US that are in the classic style. It's a shame to see them go to waste with quite a few horrible tracks still on the calendar. My home track, Road Atlanta, is such a phenomenal circuit and just goes to waste. We get the Petit Le Mans and I am thankful for that but I wish the world could see what a magical place it is. High speed, elevation... What more could you ask for? Besides billions of dollars of course...
