As I said earlier before it disappeared, is there not enough Telmex money been promised? lets face it, it's the only reason they took Perez. They seem quite happy to drop him now if something better comes along.

Pressure tactics for his own drivers only. They want Button for a multi-year deal, and will perhaps look to add another top driver in a year's time. Button wants a one year deal so he can see how the engine formula is shaping up. But if Alonso comes, so too does the Santadar money and it spends just as well as Telmex money but seems to go faster:)

Fernando left McLaren because of the way the team operated, and the environment there. I remember reading that on race weekends he'd go back to Renault for lunch and so on. I doubt he'd go back to McLaren. I doubt he'd go anywhere else. Him and Ferrari suit each other.

Oooo... he got told off by Ferrari publicly. He must be moving teams. The media's making a big thing about nothing.
