Oh yeah absolutely FP1 is all about driver skill, nothing to do with collecting data, doing fuel runs, setting up a car etc.
In fact FP1 is probably a better indication of driver skill than winning World Championships. (on Planet Fanboy)

FP1 and people are already making crazy speculative comments. Does anyone know what programs each team was running or which new parts they were testing? Not to mention checking tyre wear under different fuel loads or finding the right balance with their high downforce packages following two low downforce races.

that's it! there is no point in having any more practice, quali or race.....lulu is fastest in fp1 and its all over. now I will be able to do other things on Saturday and sunday!


note, the cars barely went out today because of poor track conditions. look at the number of laps done...TWENTY, in an hour and a half!

Doesnt matter what Hamilton does in FP1 or the race. Vettel will destroy him over a season regardless. Thats what matters and thats where Vettel has Hamilton beat every time, and he knows it.
