F1 » Vettel dazzles under the lights at Singapore

An unassailable Sebastian Vettel left the rest of the field grasping at shadows under the floodlights in Singapore, but a safety car and divergent pit strategies led to an exciting finish further back.

For those that didnt see the podium, Seb was roundly booed again, which is a massive disgrace.

In Monza, in front of the Ferrari fanboys is one thing, but in the middle of Asia after he just dominated a race (and his team mate)...?! I felt embarrassed and annoyed, what the actual ****?

Actually I saw it and people like Niki Lauda condemned it. I think it has nothing to do with Vettel or better say with what he does or says. It would happen to everyone which wins one race after another. And it will happen again unfortunately to every driver which may dominate in the future. Anyway Vettel must race at his best and must try to not get involved in this matter.

This Race is a boring and always will be, the drs is useless, its a night Monaco,,,,,,, overtaking is near impossible...racing in a canyon with warm air will make this race as dull as dish water for ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Solution.. not only have Singapore as the only night race for the year ,,BUT the only purpose wet race...Sprinklers to save this bore fest.........l

@Taipan I don't mean to say they check nothing, but I didn't think they checked over everything.

I'm not sure that people are booing Vettel per se, although he seems to be taking the brunt of it. I think it's probably more to do with the fact that F1 has become a one horse race.

Poor judgement and sportsmanship in overtaking webber against team orders, will haunt Seb till he gives up F1 and beyond...Seb committed " image" suicide that day, and this generation of f1 fans will never forget it..

Nah, It was the Australian fans that were there booing Seb. Singapore is close enough for Aussies to go to. A lot of them hate Seb for resoundingly pummelling Webber in his last season, including on "image suicide" day when Webber was simply in Seb's way.

pto,,, Seb has been booed in every race except germ since that 'Moral crime was committed....Seb could avert a nuclear disaster and hailed a hero.....but he will still be booed by f1 fans on a race weekend....Shu wore the "cheater " tag by the fans most of his career and never shook it , F1 fans never forgive injustice, ..sorry to disagree....

Vettel has to be the most unpopular driver in F1 in decades. The bottom line is people just do not like this fellow or his behaviour. Quite frankly, when he wins, I just change the channel! Can't stand watching the guy and I'm not an Aussie!
