F1 » Mercedes: Korea should suit our car

Toto Wolff: In the three races since the summer break, our team has scored an average of 20 points per Grand Prix. But it's a measure of our expectations now that we have left each circuit disappointed that we didn't achieve even more. That's a feeling we'll be looking to change this weekend...

What, like Spa was? Red Bull has once again conquered all, and now everybody's pretty well stopped developing their cars, expect to see them disappearing into the distance by 0.5-1 second per lap for the rest of the season.

It's not a bad effort by Merc overall - award for most improved I'd imagine. But one wonders if anybody will ever be able to compete with the current Red Bull staff short of a monster engine discrepancy.

Anyway Mercedes is not going to win this race. Red Bull has a very strong record in this circuit, two victories for Vettel followed by third(2011) and second(2012) for Webber in the last two years. Only if it rains we might see something similar to the 2010 Korean GP. But still Vettel would be the favourite to win it.
