Fact is, he is just not quick enough in qualifying. Recall last year when he had an excellent car and still there were occasions when he failed to get into Q3. Perez was out qualified by Kobayashi last year, same thing applies to him. McLaren's performance is being hampered by two drivers that can't perform on the Saturday.

A bit ironic given that Button was targeting Lotus, perhaps he should keep quiet in future and just get on with the job he's paid to do. Button is a poor qualifier anyway so I don't believe Raikonnen made much difference, the car is not quick enough to beat Lotus
unless they had problems.
