Remember the rumours that Ross Brawn was to leave Mercedes and buy into Williams? That's so last month. This week, all the talk is about whether he's McLaren-bound...

Next thing we'll be hearing stories he is off to Marussia!!! McLaren have just reported a loss so wont perhaps have as much money as Marussia, further more it would be more of a challenge.

It would make a great deal of sense, if Brawn leaves Mercedes where would he go, not Ferrari, Not Redbull nor I would think Lotus. Mclaren is an obvious move given Mclarens problems and Brawn's connections with Honda. I would think Button will be over the moon

I can understand why he would want to leave Mercedes, with Niki running around just trying to be controversial on a weekly basis, Lowe sitting around waiting to take Brawn's job and Toto....well to be quite honest I have no idea what he does or why he's there, it's not exactly a harmonious management team.

But if he went to McLaren I can't see him working under Whitmarsh.

joat. I despair of you, sometimes. marussia have made the biggest loss in f1 history...nearly 60m, closely followed by lotus at 55m. I don't think that macca were anywhere near these figures! AND they have telmex money to boot.

McLaren's losses were mainly down to buying back the shares from Daimler. Nice saving on the tax bill...

This just looks like an attempt to put substance to Whitmarsh's comment. Its a guess, but even if its repeated a hundred times, it may not be true.
