Nico Hulkenberg - and Felipe Massa - remain in the frame at Lotus for 2014, provided the team can find the backing to hire them.

As if the rest of the World didn't know that already... I honestly hope they get the deal with both Infinity and Renault sorted ASAP so they can start focusing on next year's championship.

We need a team to give RBR a run for their money 'cause another championship like the one we're having will be just too boring. If Webber wasn't so demotivated and unlucky (and past his peak really) they'd be 1-2 by a good margin by now.

Hopefully with all that in place they can sign up the best driver for the team, be it Massa or Hulkenberg, so next year we have a few more players fighting for the mug!

such promise and yet they remain cash strapped.. Wonder which of the 2 drivers are more expensive and if evenly priced would Massa not be more of an asset to Lotus with his Ferrari experience and knowledge?

Nico has solid sponsor. It's worth more than his salary. I think the sponsor worth 12 Millions pounds.
It more likely Lotus still do not have budget for 2014.
Well, Nico has to go back to Force India.

I think we overate the experience factor for developping the car.
They still simple drivers who understand nothing more than oversteering or understeering without understand nothing about reasons behind those car behaviors. They only give feedback.
Rosberg wanted to be an enginer so he has some knowledges maybe. It remains that Lewis challenge him.
So all that is bullshit.
Hulk already got 2 seasons ! What do the people want ?
