Hmm it does sound a bit weird, probably be not too bad once there are 20 odd of them in close proximity but it's a far cry from V10's.
What will be bad is the silent pitlane when they're all running under electric power.

I think this will be as low as F1 goes regarding engine size. If they started to go to V4's and V2's F1 fans would riot. But alas there will be a point one day when oil and petrol run out and we'll need to start using electricity.

Here's an idea though. Since future cars will be electric, why not have a chip or something that makes it sound like a V10 or V12. That way, we get our noise and it won't hurt nature. Win win I say!
