With his victory this weekend in the Indian GP, Sebastian Vettel has become the youngest-ever four-time F1 world champion. But that's just the latest in a string of records he's set over the years.

Mike, Absolutely!

Vettel awarded winning rookie 8 times and scored 6 podiums as a 17 year old quite impressive.

Probably not what you were getting at but it is quite sad that you have to back to when Vettel was at school to find a time that Lulu out did him. Which records do you think will be remembered for longer Lulu's in F3 or Vettel's in F1?

Who mentioned Hamilton not me!

Just funny that nobody ever mentions Vettels junior record statistics except when he won a national FBMW championship.
Maybe its because there is not really anything that impressive there.
No F3 Championships, No Formula Renault Championships, No GP2 Championships. NOTHING!

Ok he's good but not as good as some people think.
When he's beaten fellow world champions like Alonso, Hamilton, Button etc in the same car, not people like Webber and Bourdais I may change my mind.
Until that time I will consider him a good driver in a great car.

mikelite. SOOO????? a person does not have to be a champion in f3 to become a great f1 driver. some drivers have never been in f3! in truth, we are talking about his f1 performances, not what he did in the past. his bmw record though, is very relevant because it shows him in identical cars, to be ahead of the rest. and interestingly, lulu has now actually admitted that vettel is probably the greatest driver ever.

by the way, what age was vettel when he was in f3, competing against experienced and older drivers?
