He's obviously keen to put one over Kimi as he set the time in the last minute of the session. As most of the teams concentrate on longer runs after mid session, it means very little, as the track was getting progressively quicker as the sand was being blown off, and it started to rubber up. If he can repeat that performance in quali, I'll be impressed.

Abu Dhabi is a perfect picture of the modern F1 circuit. Cost hundreds of millions, lots of pretty colours, stunning hotels, sparkly lights everywhere, great facilities, they thought about absolutely everything - other than designing a half decent race track!

Mind you Taipan its slighttly more visually attractive than Valencia or that floodlit circuit. Both those are like driving round an industrial estate.

Grosjean got the bit between his teeth. Good for him.
