better to have it fail in practice. Hopefully Lewis has good traction out of the corner and can keep or gain during DRS. I have to think Lewis is marginally faster than Nico at this track, so the team might have to build a strategy for both drivers so that they don't waste too much time trying to sort out track position during the race.

Have to say, Vettel is looking the weakest since for a while, maybe Merc have a win in store if Webber is getting typical treatment from RBR, but Croft alluded to a gimme, so maybe there are little birds chirping and Webber will be given some priority this weekend.

Why Lewis has to be so unlucky on this circuit. He look to have mastered this track better than any other. In 2009 and 2012 he suffered from different terminal issues while leading the race, in 2010 was held up by Kubica who prevented him from challenging Vettel and now the wing failure. Only in 2011 everything did went well for him. I wish him good luck tomorrow. He will need some in order to win the race.

Vettel has been struggling most of the sessions, yes hes fast, but thats because his car is doing most of the work, you can see him losing it and how he has to run off the track to try and hold more speed in the technical areas.

Vettel is not as fast this weekend as he has been most of this year, Mark has a good shot, but Vettel probably has priority on setup and hence better tire wear. If one of the Merc's can stick it up in front of Vettel and burn down his motor and aero, Merc have a good shot.

PCXmerc, To be fair you think Mercedes have a good shot at every race, funny how I never heard you mention them last year or the year before....

As for Vettel losing it, no I think it's you who's lost it.

Thats cause I was rooting for Lewis at McLaren Taibaby. & no, even vettel was shaking his head over his performance, Vettel isn't looking terribly sharp this weekend, RBR have a good car though, and if RBR are gonna win it, I hope Webber does it by 20+ seconds.

Tbh despite the failure I do believe it was Lewis pushing too hard that caused it. He went well wide at the turn before he spun off at and those kerbs aren't all that friendly. Probably caught the wishbone and it broke causing the spin. Can happen to anyone.
