Sebastian Vettel: Technically I didn't do anything wrong. I brought the car back so it's fine...

That opens the door for donuts after anyone wins. Not a bad thing it's quite a spectacle.

Until someone fu**s it up and drives into a barrier and then it'll be a strict diet of no more donuts.

Glad to see tbh, it is a good thing for the fans in attendance and those of us watching on the telly
.
I thought there were other reasons why they shouldn't do this, well one reason in regards to the team at least....engine life.

They stopped doing them in MotoGP for this reason and given F1 has similar rules in terms of engines i figured that was the main reasoning behind it.

As for the inconsistency between this week and last...i don't think there is any to be honest...Seb got nailed for not going to Parc Ferme when he should have, this time he did it on track but still accessed the pit lane afterwards, something he could not do in India as he had already past them.

Now that the drivers understand that it's OK for the winner to do a donut before parc ferme, we'll see all winners doing it.Then we'll wait to see the reaction if the second placed driver does a donut. Where will it all end? All drivers are happy to have reached the end of a race, can they all do donuts. Don't get me wrong, I like seeing it.

Then we will all get bored of seeing donuts all over the place and will be no news at all.
I think we will see them only at this stage of the season when luck is marked and powertrains left - fuel - tyre wear - race track permitting.

the other day, posters were complaining about the stewards penalising seb for his donuts, now I see they are complaining because it was not stopped???? no pleasing some.
these are professional drivers and do demos in older cars, so donuts are well within their capabilities. seb did his on the run off area, and not on he track.
lets have them! but don't do them on the open road as some have done in the past!!

What most of you guys are missing is that Seb wasn't actually penalised for doing donuts ... he was penalised for 'delaying the post race procedure" by not getting back to parc-ferme ... which is why I had a very large chuckle at the way he did them this time.
