Christian Horner says Sebastian Vettel's current run of form in F1 is almost beyond words

As good as Vettel may appear to be, the car itself is in a class apart. It's like a re-run of the Schumacher years when we now know he had special tyres and other advantages that his team mate did'nt have. Vettel may not have these advantages but the car more than makes up the difference. I and I'd guess a few million others would like to see what Vettel would be like in a second class car, i.e the rest of the grid. I'm not convinced he has the Alonso mentality of OK the cars crap, I've qualified 7th but I'm going to be third by the end of the first lap. At the moment he has a VERY easy time of it and I for one would like to see him in an ordinary car before I join the legions of people who say he's the best driver ever, better then Senna, better than
Prost, Moss, Fangio etc. Personally I don't think you can compare drivers from differnt eras, for one thing they did'nt have the advantages of KERS, DRS and the like they actually had to race AND overtake people to win.

Look at Rosberg in the Mercedes last year in china, then you see how important an incredible setup is. Too bad for the mercs that they only could do that in one race.

Vettel is working "long into the night", according to Rosberg, to get the best setup possible on that car, and thats why that RB is flying. The better the setup, the better the balance, the faster the car. Thats quite simple.

Senna was known for being obsessive about every bits and pieces on his car and how they worked together. He knew that was clue to do "Macic", as ho often did.

paul. the three most important words are...THE....BEST...DRIVER!

Richard, If he is truly the best do like Hamilton and take a risk to move to another team to see if you get the same results. If he were to get the same results then id be convinced. Not saying he isnt great with the package he has but step out of the bubble of the best package to see if you can win on other machinery. Its been done before by a guy in Moto GP named Rossi, you may have heard of him when he won World Championships with Honda then switched to Yamaha and did the same. THATS greatness.

You better think about what you're saying... Hamilton just may be caught and beat by Rosberg at the end of the race in Brazil.
And to the "Its the car" crowd... Mark Webber was driving the same car and Nico and Romain were nipping at his heels the whole race. How do you explain that? How does an experienced driver like Webber allow those guys to do that if he is riding a magic carpet around the track?
