F1 » Webber: Hamilton missing 'consistent hunger'

Mark Webber: There's every chance Lewis could fight for the title next year, he's the right age, he has the right environment at Mercedes.

I'm not buying this blame the tyres BS.

Lulu has won at China, Germany, Abu Dhabi, Canada, Italy, the US and Hungary twice since Pirelli arrived. So the tyres were good enough for him to win at 7 different tracks but it's because of the tyres that he keeps ending up 4th (or 5th) in the championship? boll0cks, it's because he cant overtake and goes backwards at most races!

What like at Monza this year when he overtook god knows how many cars or Silverstone when the puncture put him too the back of the pack and he came back to fourth!
He cant overtake. Really? I seem to remember quite a few overtaking moves pulled off by Hamilton over the years. You are letting you obsessive hatred of the guy get in the way of facts and its getting quite boring now.

Taipan old chap.

Please do me a favour and google GP2 Turkey 2006.

It is an overtaking master class from one Mr Lewis Hamilton.
Just watch the 8 minute clip and you will see why your " he cannot overtake comment " is utterly ridiculous

2006???

It kind of proves my point Mike when you have to go back to GP2 to find Lulu doing some overtaking!

That was back in the good old days when he went forward in races not BACKWARDS!

Problem is,

I believe the Hamilton then and now are hugely different people, he's now ruled by a super ego and until he learns a little humility and decides to be a racing driving rather than wishing to be a mega star/brand then I doubt he'll have anywhere near the success Vettel has, he's not willing to dedicate himself that much to F1.

See that's the problem with some of the self confessed experts on this site.
They only follow F1 and do not see the big picture.

Some of us follow all junior categories and therefore have a better idea of a drivers strengths and weaknesses before they get to F1.
