I never understood his appointment, he was way to aggressive in his racing, I reckon the 1st half of the season was his undoing but there will be commercial factors too.

He's handled his exit very well though so credit for that. Imagine the comments if it was Maldernandos!

Taz, I agree his appointment was a bit of a shot in the dark but I did expect more from him this season even driving a pup.
But big respect to him for the way he's handled it, to quote Rob Smedley, very magnanimous of him.

Does Sauber has any avaiable place? Sirotkin will be one of their drivers but Hulkenberg's place is not guaranteed. So he can return to his former team. I would like that Hulkenberg and Perez to change their seats with each other.

I feel sorry for him, but am not unhappy that they got rid of him.

On the other hand, as has been mentioned before, he has handled it extremely well and has been very respectful to the team in his departing comments.

Well done Sergio! At last Button isn't the only McLaren driver who doesn't bite the hand that feeds him...
