Ferrari had to alter its schedule for the opening day of the USGP in Austin, but Fernando Alonso insisted that the outcome was no more than he had expected.

Ferrari appear to have conceded the fight for second place in the CC as they concentrate fully on their 2014 car. They are a mirror image of their MGP counterpart, Ducati, totally lost without direction or leadership.
